Q: Will this work with a sliding shower door?
A: If you are talking about sliding shower doors in a tub that has an overhead track, yes it will. I would not hang it on the part that moves, however. Hang it over the upper track. 

Q: Do you think this caddy will work on a towel bar? Are there hooks that would be on the outside of the shower enclosure?
A: I don’t think it would work well on a towel bar, because it does have two hooks on the back side. I think it might hit the wall behind the towel bar. I have put the caddy on the back wall of my shower and use the hooks outside the shower for towels.
